Week 8

Got some more arrangements I made on April fools, hope you enjoy the spring colors as much as I do.

Line composition:

Center piece for a protea arrangement series, this would be framed with two or more other arrangements and elevated on a vase or something. 

then finally, a G-arrangement. otherwise known as a garbage arrangement. a one-of, one-of, one-of type, not repeating flowers or materials but just using low quality flowers (the lilies aren’t bad…) that are about to be thrown out. 

Week 7

Floral design today - basket arrangement using a wide variety of plant material — choose your own design. I had fun with it today. Found a purple mini basket and composed an arrangement with a fitting color scheme and compact size. The orange gerber contrasts well with the green while the change in texture and form is established by the exotic foliage and purple snapdragons.

This other arrangement is more abstract - a combination of simplicity balance and variety in texture and form. I wanted to keep this one more tropical-feeling and emphasize openness. Used some exotic greens, a philodendron leaf, snakeskin plant, Andromeda, and a green mum disbud flower for the focal point.

What a creep. What a weirdo. What the hell is he doing there? He don't belong there.

Week 5

Crescent design today - got to work with orchids and delphinium, as well as lisianthus. Enjoy, and for future reference — know that I give these away. If you feel like you need to brighten your day or have an event coming up, just let me know. Delivery charge is $1000 though.

Week 4

What’s goodddd??

Unfortunately, our professor was feeling sick, which led to a short class period. I got a couple of pieces done in a couple of hours.

And for my sick professor who just had a tragic death in the family. Don’t have it with me for obvious reasons.

Wish the tulips had opened, would look awesome. He hates orange with purple, so I did it just so he would know it was for him.

I’m sorry that my tumblr is comprised completely of pictures of flowers. Some things will keep me smiling this week, including reminiscing of nothing somethings, spring weather sneak peek, and project M (aka Brawl savior).

Hmm, since my floral design class requires me to take pictures of my projects for a portfolio, I figured I would just post the pictures up here. Can’t wait to be called a Scientologist. Or a homosexual. While I am not either a homosexual or a Scientologist, I would be more frightened of being called a Scientologist — for fear that my denial of a belief in the Space Opera would eventually turn me homosexual. Like Tony Manero.

Oblong/Almond centerpiece in Week 2

Inverted T, lines, two focal points, horizontal— also I don’t want to hear it about the 7-11 cup, I had 5 hours of sleep…waking up to arrange flowers for 5 hours. Real men use what they have when arranging flowers.
